Why Use a Professional Pet Sitter?

Experience, Licensing, and Certification

A professional pet sitter should have a business license, carry liability insurance and have experience caring for pets.   All of our sitters carry Washington State business licenses, have received background checks, and are covered under our company insurance coverage.  In addition, with over 13 years of experience, SnR Pet Care has not only welcomed many family pets into our care network, we have built relationships with local vets, groomers, trainers and animal rescue groups.

"But my Neighbor's Son's Friend's Cousin does Pet Sitting!"

If you decide to use a non-professional sitter, it is important to exercise caution.   What is the vetting process for the person you will bring into your home to care for your most vulnerable family member?  Will they be there when they say they will? Will they recognize when Fluffy isn’t feeling well, or let her run out the front door when they enter your home? Will they invite their friends over to your empty home in your absence? You don’t need to worry about what’s going on when you hire SnR Pet Care.  We conduct ourselves professionally and will treat your pets and home with utmost care.  We are dedicated, experienced, and happy to answer any questions you may have.

"There's an App for that"

Some services just don’t lend themselves to on-demand smartphone apps. It’s okay to order a pizza or a ride – it might not be so okay to order a dog walker or petsitter who may/may not have experience and may/may not carry insurance and may/may not even show up. We are a small, independently owned pet sitting company and work very hard to provide a high level of care and give you a stress free time away. Pet sitting is all we do and we take our jobs very seriously.
